I am generally interested in Teichmüller theory and geometric structures on surfaces. During my PhD, I spent quite a bit of time thinking about grafting, mainly as a metric deformation on surfaces, but also as the geometric counterpart of "bending" in Hitchin representations.
Right now, I'm working on questions around marked length spectrum rigidity for various families of metrics. Some of the main objects I look at include hyperbolic surfaces, translation surfaces, curves and their lengths, measured laminations, and geodesic currents.
